Eric Yates
Greetings to you all! My name is Eric Yates and I serve as our Teaching Minister here at CrossWalk.
I absolutely love integrating my love of God with my love of people and planet. Conversations with friends and strangers, reading, recycling, backpacking, camping, kayaking, and running are more than just enjoyed activities. They are all ways of connecting with the divine around me and
within me. The testimony of God is everywhere we look! All we must do is wake up to His ever-present reality in the world.
I have served at CrossWalk since January 2007. Before moving back to my home state of Arkansas, I worked in campus ministry in Denton, Texas where I ministered to the students of North Texas University and Texas Woman’s University. I hold a B.A. in Speech & Communication Theory and a Master of Divinity from Abilene Christian University. I have been married to my lovely wife Hilary for over twelve years and we both stay happily busy raising our
two boys, Elliot and Evan.
