Compass Groups… Thomas Chapin

We believe that as the church becomes larger it must also become smaller. We will accomplish this through small groups of people meeting weekly in homes for fellowship, study and prayer. It is through small groups that we meet one another’s needs, share one another’s joys and bear one another’s burdens. Cross Training… Eric Yates

Becoming more like Jesus for the sake of the world is not always easy! In fact, if Jesus is our standard then failure will probably be a common occurrence. CrossTraining on Sunday mornings is a time of discipleship training that equips us to be more like Jesus in very real and practical ways. In CrossTraining we share and learn from our successes but also from our failures as we listen to each other and reflect upon our experiences.

Here’s what you can expect from CrossTraining:

  • A radical call to discipleship by becoming more like Jesus for the sake of the world
  • A deep and relevant study of the Bible, especially the life and teachings of Jesus Christ
  • Calling people to discipleship through relationships and not just programs
  • A call to action as we become the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities
